These ensembles will perform a variety of selections, from standard concert band literature and marches, to jazz and movie themes. The Camrose & District Community Band is comprised of musicians from Camrose and area, as well as a significant number of Augustana students. Admission by donation.

Centra Cam’s 21st Annual Bowl-a-thon

There are up to 100 bowlers looking for sponsors! To sponsor a bowler or make a donation got to centracam.ca or at the main facility at 5502-46 Street in Camrose. The bowlers will be Centra Cam clients, staff and board members in addition to Challenge team members from local businesses. These teams are major players in the success of this fundraiser. The Bowl-a-thon is major annual fundraiser and funds from the Bow-a-thon will fill the crucial need for “Building Repair, Maintenance, and Equipment Replacement”. This will help meet the growing needs of expanding programs.

The annual event features paintings, drawings and sculptures from Augustana’s Visual Art students (scholarships are awarded based on merit). The public is encouraged to attend. Admission is free of charge.


The Camrose Kodiaks are looking for volunteers for the 2017/18 season. If you would like to help out with our local AJHL franchise, stop by the Kodiaks office in the Camrose Recreation Centre.


Open Football – Free Football Training
Hosted by the Camrose Trojans Football Couches.
Open to all ages and skill levels. The program runs from 7-9pm. The first hour concentrates on perfecting the players skills while the second hour is spent playing touch football. Players need to bring clean non-marking indoor shoes and gym clothes to participate. Next football night is Saturday, January 20 in the west gym at the Camrose Composite Highschool.
